Does rain affect your punting plan?
Personally I have never changed my mind even if it is pouring on the day if I have decided to go already. However I heard that places get quiet when it rains.
I guess you might get a better girl if it is.
Also I like that you get more privacy in a rainy day.
What do you think guys? Is a rainy day actually a better day to punt?
Nothing like hammering away with a nice girl whilst the rain hammers on the roof and the thunder claps. Happened to me this afternoon at 5pm and adds "atmosphere" to the punt. Primeval.
Shhh, don't tell anyone but rainy days are great as some punters have to cancel due to weather related issues so you can sometimes get a pleasant suprise!
nah.. I guess it's really random. I was thinking this for more than a year and now I think it's 50/50!
gets real busy or somehow, quiet.
We've already done the rainy day thread before

Rainy day makes me be emotional
I love punting during rainy days! So much feels and the specials are always great
I usually ride my motorbike to go punt and on days with heavy rain I can't be arsed, or I might just visit my local.
It didn't deter me from punting. Generally, it was not very busy at the shops.
I think rainy days are better for punting
gets me in the mood for it !
and i'll have to agree with cuteguy on the shops not being very busy during rainy periods
i hate to carry an umbrella around, so yes, for me i tend to skip punting on rainy days. having said that, if my fav is in the shop, i would still go, rain or shine.
Same I generally avoid rainy days.
Now I hate rainy days as I just lost my third and also last umbrella today. The third one in one month. And my clothes haven't dried yet. What to wear tomorrow?
Are rainy day discounts blatantly offered or do you have to ask for them?
