The master

Fruit bats squealing and squeaking, my neighbours fucking, the rubbish truck collecting, the rain pelting on my window, beer bottles clanging as they are dumped into the recycling bin, the poker machine feature going off, the hum of progress, the white noise of civilisation, the buzz of fucking being alive.
It's all beautiful
Vale to one of the greatest.
I always loved this clip of him: https://youtu.be/6SFNW5F8K9Y
He's just chilling for most of the song, then his solo starts and he smokes everyone, tosses his guitar, and heads off to get some cut up.
This popped up on shuffle today...rocking away walking down to Chinatown now.

Just realised that lots of Aussie singers/bands are in my favourite list like Air Supply, Savage Garden, Delta Goodrem.
They're so amazing. Can repeat Truly madly deeply or I knew I love you for whole day.

RATM! Haven't strutted to them for ages! Classic.
This was always my favourite of theirs, it's a cover of the Springsteen song: https://youtu.be/1VypaE6kKJ8
Goosebumps everytime it gets around the 4 minute mark and Zack drops the "....look in their eyes, you'll see me!" line.
This is always a good mood setter with a lady friend in tow:

He throws the guitar into the air and it just disappears like fucking magic!
I read an article on this performance recently and how it came about. The other musicians they interviewed about it didn't even know where the guitar went.

When I am at home relaxing I like to pull out a few old 45s and 78s and put them on the old phonogram and chill out.
I have lot's of favourites but the ones I come back to again and again are The Carter Family.
They are good decent god fearing folk and I find their songs very inspiring and spiritually uplifting.
Here is an example - it's digitised and so not as good as playing it on the record player but I hope it will give you an idea of just how good and wholesome and pure and beautiful music can be.
Enjoy!
