This thread made me chuckle. On one hand, OP is still a boy getting pocket money from mummy and daddy. On the other hand, there are other guys trying to make fun of him, but those guys probably make less than OP's pocket money.
Quite ironic for both sides hehe.
I got nothing against Caffr3y he seems a nice guy (rare on this site it seems) plus we all wish we could be that good looking punter all the girls love. But I was just laughing at how unethical it would be to buy a $6-8k WL off your dads credit card!
I have to agree that there is some irony in all this but most of us here live in the real world where being a foundation member or how many reviews to your name don't mean shit and where no one gives a fuck about your membership status or post count. That's how things work in the real world and if you walk up to someone in the street and say hey I'm a foundation member and I've done 5000 reviews (some without getting paid) they will just look at you and tell to get a fucking life creep.
For others who live their life in the forum and they have to post 20 times a day, every day, well to them I say, good luck and enjoy your fantasy world but in the world you are nobody. Now that is truly ironic, wouldn't you say?
I dont think that logic really carries on this site. If the average punter goes once a week at approx 300 bucks thats a touch under 16k for a year. That would be after tax income (maybe the exception being Ahlungor as i imagine kick backs are paid in cash) and i would also assume disposable income as i dont think people would skip meals etc to punt.
Disposable income of that level would suggest at least an average but more than likely above average income for punters commenting on the site.
I wouldnt argue that - even call it $150 then. Still $8k post tax a year - still around 10-15% of the average Australian wage a year.
I guess my point is i dont see punting being a poor mans game. It lends itself more to those with disposable income - and dont get me wrong im sure there are outliers however i am speaking generally. So arguing about incomes of forum members is a moot point
'I spend all day on a sex forum discussing prostitues with people I call my friends but have no intention of ever meeting in real life. A lot of that time is spent needlessly fighting with other members. I am proud of my achievements of writing dozens of reviews and thousands of posts as I have really contributed to society by enhancing the experience of the cheating husband. I am proud of myself for achieving a high status as a member, it says so in my rank next to my post count. The rest of the time I watch tentacle porn. This is my life, my legacy'.
Having said all this , let's add up your combined hours and posts on this site Microbro? Most of which has been taking shots.
