    RIP to the young victim.
Violence against anyone, particularly defenceless women, is abhorrent

Even if mentally unwell, using a knife against innocent people crosses a line

The sex worker used the website Locanto to advertise her services and rented a unit worth $700 a week according to the news. 104 Clarence St.

Has anyone booked the WL before or know of her?

The guy is obviously a psycho.
All they can do is lock him up never to be released.
A tragedy for the young girl and her family to have her life cut so short.
It highlights the dangers that WLs face every day - especially the private ones.

That is expensive in the block. Care to share the news source?

Credit to the guys that didn't consider their own safety and managed to restrain the knife man before he hurt anyone else. Very gutsy thing to do and they fully deserve any awards they may receive.

The whole incident just highlighted the danger facing all the private WL/ML on a daily basis - how could they protect themselves and improve their own safety and security?

This reminds of serial killers decades ago who targeted WLs because back then, no one cared about those girls.

From memory, didn't something similar happen out Parramatta way where a guy booked and threatened the WL and took her money?

Real shame to hear about the 21 year old. Her life was still ahead of her.

Surely a lot of private ML/WL will think twice about it after this incident...

It could happen in a shop as well.
There are no metal detectors or any bag searches that I can remember. A few shops don't even have intercom to the rooms or even buzzers or emergency buttons.
