Yes, Taiwan was included in the etc but I should have called them out first seeing they have managed this as well if not better than anyone else.

I think I need only rest my case in response to that article.
CNN still is vastly superior to Fox News and SMH for that matter.
So anyone you don’t like has no credibility but the right wing views that you adore do?
Pot. Kettle. etc.
Also, I'm not the one that started attacking sources instead of arguing the points raised in the article. Much like the situation at hand, you'd prefer to blame governments other than the one that start this whole thing and then made it worse by lying about it.
If you want to apply pot/kettle arguments, you better take a long hard look in the mirror first. How would you describe your comments about Noam Chomsky?
The point I am making is your arguments are pointless as are almost completely redundant. What you are suggesting is to focus efforts on blaming the Chinese instead of putting energies into solving the problem.
You’ve made no attempt to respond to the fact that western governments were slow to respond in comparison to their Asian counterparts. Instead, you’re still harping on about blame the Chinese because they lied. Ok, I’ll concede you that point. There is no doubt that they lied. You probably worship Trump as a bastion of truth?
Are you honestly still trying to argue that western governments should bear no culpability for their abysmally slow response?
Can you explain the death toll in Japan versus that of Italy or Spain or the USA? What did the Japanese know that these other countries did not or was it just common sense?
Is your hatred of Chinese driven simply by a political ideology or something deeper and darker?
Again, do you have selective reading? I'm not the one that started this whole attack the source charade. I'm merely poking tongue-in-cheek at your attempts to deflect and derail, much like this post.
Stop moving the goal post, the argument was world governments were too slow to react. I countered with China hindered those reactions by covering up the outbreak, even going so far as to trying to keep flights open.
See above, you're still deflecting and not answering the question; again (if you decide to turn off your selective reading) how effective would other government's responses be if China didn't coverup and lie about the outbreak? You're blaming the fireman for arriving to your house late instead of the person (read: China) who took a flamethrower to your house then tried to prevent the fire truck from getting to your house.
Classic CCP textbook move; deflect and derail when you have no defense. Playing the racism card, again. At what point did I mention it was the people's fault? I specifically mentioned the party/CCP. Going by your logic, your critical comments of the other world governments, is it driven by your hatred of their people? Ideology? Or something more sinister and darker?

Such strong anti-chinese sentiments.... so all to the one point. The Chinese doctors who made a fuss were not taken seriously at the start. So with all the intelligence of the greatest country in the world (quoting Trump)... what did they do with the information from these doctors ??
Unnecessarily childish attack? (pun intended)
Anti-government coverup. Just so it's clear, I'm on the side of the doctors (they were chinese last time I checked) that were silenced by the party. Second part, we back to "america bad" again? This whole thing could've been avoided if China had just said "hey guys we have a problem" instead of trying to "save face". Dare I say it, those doctors might still be alive.
The Chinese leaders were the first ones to confront this information, it’s a decision that would bring the world’s economy down, you can’t make such a decision based on a few “ experts “ advise, so the hesitation was understandable. But after the Wuhan lockdown, if that’s still not clear to the world, what is ?
Lying about the number of infections ? What difference does it make ? If China said they had 50000 deaths but in fact they had 100000 deaths, would any country change their way to protect their citizens ?

Come on, the "few experts" were the doctors on the front line that got silenced and died trying to warn others (RIP). And it wasn't the lying about the numbers that hampered the response I mean stuff like this (from a left publication for those saying I have political bias): https://www.washingtonpost.com/us-po...e-coronavirus/
"China’s Foreign Ministry criticized the United States for making “unfriendly comments” during the coronavirus outbreak and said a U.S. warning against travel to China went against recommendations made by the World Health Organization to not restrict travel or trade. “In disregard of WHO recommendation against travel restrictions, the US went the opposite way,”
China and CHO (thanks Japan, I'll be borrowing this one) went out of their way to slow other countries taking effective measures.

boy oh boy oh boy ... what china has done is nothing compared to the level of gross incompetence seen in the west.
