from my experience if they ask for money upfront its because their not good at what they do.
1. When they keep you waiting in the room for too long before coming back to start the session. Should be less than five minutes.
2. Ringing the shop to see who is working and the girl who answers the phone has poor English and struggles to understand you. I realise some girls don't have great English, but they shouldn't be answering the phone in this case.
