I can do this at work, but I'm not stupid enough to do it though. It amazes me what people think they can do and get away with it

From a different life time, the financial controller of the company I worked for used to entertain the CFO from head office (both guys were Asian), wine and dine ( usually at the Golden Century). A game of golf at a private club. A massage Spa session included Tips at the old Zanadu. All company expenses on entertainment account, no question asked .
He should have just put her on the payroll...
In business these are part of entertainment expenses. It’s not just for customers but in the past some businesses used to entertain key staff also. It’s was mostly private businesses with the owner running the show. Many years ago I remember one of the sales rep took the owner of business who was a customer to strip club for lunch. He and the state manager had a long lunch and returned just before 5pm to the office. Then before the game of origin we had stripper come to entertain clients during the barbecue. You know this is in winter and that night was freezing. Very one felt sorry for the strippers and allowed them to put back their clothes. Those days are gone.
My last job was to look after Asian market and when joined the business my boss took me to meet customer. We had couple of wild parties as part of entertaining customers which went into the business expense. Well I was not complaining when I had a girl sitting next to me in the karaoke bar singing and dancing and made sure my beer was not finished. She even called one of her friends to party with us.
I was in the Hollywood strip clubbing Gold Coast couple of years ago and this dude looked like business owner had brought couple of his staff. He was holding a bundle of notes in his hand which looked like $50 bills and was tipping the girls. Where as I was kind of sitting couple of meters away and had only couple of $5 notes deciding if the stripper had done a good enough job to be tipped
In other countries using company funds for sex workers to entertain clients is the norm and people dont bat an eye on it
20 years ago it was a regular part of the sales cycle. I spent $3,009 on lunch for a telecommunications executive at a strip club lunch restaurant in Cleveland St one day. Fairly regular and often took clients to Mens Gallery and Governors Pleasure for lunch and after work.
If your dealing with a million dollar account what’s a few thousand bucks.
You can’t do it now though.
