I know what you mean, have been there in the past wishing the same, but don't wish for them to come back. Be happy for them that they have reached a stage in life where they have moved on. Just remember the times you saw them and move on too.
I saw some of the greats (a couple of our advertisers here were absolutely top shelf service providers in the past) back in the day (and older, wiser punters would have seen way more than have I), but to quote a rousing Scottish folk song "Those days are passed now, and in the past they must remain..."
(But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
That stood against him (ENGLAND!)
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again...)
The point I'm making is that if they're back working after retiring it often means their retirement hasn't gone to plan, and I'm not sure about you but I don't wish misfortune on them, especially when there are plenty of other girls out there waiting for us, who may in fact be the heir to their throne so to speak. By all means fantasize or reminisce on the good times, but support them by visiting their shop and wish them well in retirement/management I guess is all I'm saying.
