Lightbulb Easy get useful information - Thread Display Option - Prefix Search

    hi all brothers

please try our new forum feature - Thread Display Option - Prefix Search

Case: In Sydney After Report, there may be more than 1000 threads, and it's hard to find what you after ?

Case: In Sydney General, there may be many threads, some are rosters, some are about shops/girls. hard to just find roster info?

Here is a solution: Use the Thread Display Opton - Prefix Search and sorting to get what you need.

See below images: Say I just want to see all 5Star After Report, so I simply go to Sydney After report, and under the Thread Display Option Box, I select 5star from the prefix and clicks on button - Show Thread.
Then, only 5 star related thread swill be show.
    search prefix 5star.jpg

    Searching

External Search: Google is your friend.

Just add aus99 to your search string:
    Google Jessie aus99
    Google Shop_name Jessie aus99
    Google {nationality of interest} aus99

Google shop's name, then, in the results, look to see if that shop has a website. Visit the website to see if there are photos (even if dubious), rosters, map directions, WeChat, etc.
    e.g. Google Summerville

Some shops use locanto for shop rosters. So include that in a string (add Sydney to avoid other cities' locanto listings):
    Google shop_name locanto Sydney

Google maps, center on suburb, then search for brothels or massage parlors. In the list that appears, check out the shops' websites. Then use above to find info in aus99.

Google street view: useful to know what you're looking for, saves that embarrassing binary search...

    =======================
    =======================
    Internal Search:
    Try this:

On the webpage: Forum: Sydney - After Report

Use the "Advanced Search", the link, VERY top right, below the search field box.

In the new window, in Keywords field: Maroubra

Additional Options: Find Posts: 6 months And Newer

That'll cut down the shop ad clutter.

    =======================
    Or try:

On the webpage: Forum: Sydney - After Report

Below the Thread Display Options section, below the Show Threads, on the right hand side, SMALL link to "Search Forum". In the pop up, type Mascot with the Show Threads radio button selected (the buttons below the field).

That will also cut down on the shop ad clutter.

Once you find some specific shop names, then search on those names. Sequential process, but believe me, worth the time.

    Vetting:

Easy way to check what else a member has posted:

Left click the user's handle in the leftmost column.

In the pop-up menu, left click "View Forum Posts".

Search results will show, for each post found:
    The thread title
The first 2 lines of the post

The limitation is only the most recent 10 pages of posts.

For a more exhaustive member search:
Left click the user's handle in the leftmost column.

In the pop-up menu, left click "View Profile".
The page that appears will be the user's activity. At the bottom of each page, there's a More Activity button which brings up the next set of posts. Etc, etc. Lot of clicking... Over on the left box with the user's info, one of the links is "Find Latest Started Thread". Left clicking on that does exactly that.

    How to Ignore Individual Members

Ignore List to screen out individuals who YOU find annoying:

For those of you who don't know, this forum, like others, has an Ignore List. You'll find it under your Settings (link to Settings page at the very top right of every page, same line as Log Out).

On the Settings page, below My Messages, My Subscriptions, under My Settings, there is My Account. The last setting there is Edit Ignore List.

Very easy to use - just add the handle of any pesky fly and that annoying buzzing will be gone, only a tombstone left. If you happen to want to see some individual POS left on the street, even if only to remind yourself why you're ignoring, on the tombstone, at the very left of the post, there is a View Post link that will display the individual post. And if you've lost ALL intelligent reasoning, there is also a link on the tombstone to, God forbid, Remove user from ignore list.

There is also a quicker way, pointed out due to the courtesy of rubit moore:

There is also a quicker way in four clicks.

You’re reading a thread and thinking ‘fuck me this guy is a douche’….

1:Click on their username in the LH box on the thread you’re perusing
    2:Click ‘View profile’
3: Click ‘Add to ignore list’ which is located under their profile pic on LH side under ’send private message’
4: You will be asked to confirm that person is really a douche. Y or N
    Done.

User Guide to SYD Massage Shop Punting

I'm going to park this here as it's an excellent user's guide to SYD Massage shop punting. ALL credit goes to the author, DONN. Yes, it's several years old, but still appropriate, even the price suggestions.
