I have been out of the punting game since December last year for financial reasons and because i kept seeing my cousin come up in more rosters at shops i frequent and felt it just wasnt worth the risk.
Especially after the close call from last time.
Lunar New Year just passed and there was a family gathering where it all exploded.
Arrived at the gathering to find my relatives gathering around a table all laughing and being boisterous at/with my uncle telling them a story how he went into a massage shop for his bad back and my cousin was the one that came out to service him. She was wearing something not very ‘professional’ and thats what made him think it was not the kind of massage shop he was looking for.
He was telling everyone how he was innocently looking for pain relief and the shop looked legit as he always saw it on the way home etc etc. Half my family were laughing it up, the other half were calling him out for the bs that he knew what kind of shop that was.
He was trying to shift the focus back onto my cousin being an ML who wasnt there yet.
I think he was trying to get ahead of the story before my cousin could get her say in.
When she came, she immediately got ambushed by all the aunties and her parents. She got overwhelmed and left after 10 minutes, shouting at my aunties and calling my uncle a cheater.
To be clear, my uncle is also her uncle/cousin (however it works with older relatives), not her parent.
A few of my single/open male cousins/uncles said they read a cousin story here on aus99, so im kinda trolling them by posting this update and see how they react and try figure out who it is, because its a big family lol.
And i guess end of the day, punters will be punters, even if they are family.
Will continue to stay out of punting for now, its been 3 months and im not sure how much longer i can last mentally, but at least financially im prevented from doing so.
