As someone who has recently got to 50 posts. I have not seen any secret forum or portal. I am in Brisbane, but there are additional threads on the bulletin board for Sydney, once you get to 50 posts.

can someone confirm how many sections you see under NSW/Sydney after hitting 50 posts

After 50 posts you see 7 sections under NSW/Sydney.

After you get to 50 posts try logging out and logging back in again.
