I spent half an hour alternating between the spa, sauna, and cold plunge, then had the body scrub where a bloke who speaks no English puts on an exfoliating glove and gives you a scrub down. I'm glad I did this because my skin feels amazing, but I think it was $50 for about ten mins so it's the part I'd skip if you don't want to blow the bank.

Another half an hour in the spa and I head to the relaxation room.. I've got all arvo, so I sit down and have some of the free snacks and watch some Netflix. I chill for 15min or so til the body scrub guy comes to do the foot massage, he's got hands of steel and gives me one of those massages that are painful now but you know you'll feel awesome tomorrow. I'm half asleep by the time that's over, they give me another 15 or 20 min to chill then my girl comes to give me my "Korean massage."

If you used to love the old Chequers, I recommend giving it a go. Yeah I've met some senders there, although most of the punters are just average blokes like you and me. It's what this place is all about.. if you go in for a pump and dump or quick RnT with the perfect girl then you might leave disappointed, but if you go there with an afternoon to spare and leave your cares at the door on the way in then it's almost as much of a brain reset as a fistful of mushrooms hahaha. They don't seem to let you pick the girl (I tried really hard), but both reception and the big fella who's kind of like a concierge will listen to what you're after and try to give you a girl that matches.
