Its a good idea to have a ready made story just in case of cops or girlfriends, wives asking questions. Before you go, just do some google mapping and pick a local business. If a cops asks, you can say oh I was trying to find freds shoe store or whatever. Just dont choose a real obvious one like Mcdonalds restaurants on the main road. Choose some obscure non franchise store. I personally use gyms as a cover story.

Don't need to say anything to the cops except "no comment". Let em see your id & tell em you're not answering any questions. They don't like it, but you're within your rights for doing so
