I hate these clubs. It's $90 for 15 minutes and you get told "no touching!" After you've paid!

I haven't been to a strip club in almost 20 years, but back then anything went. The sprinklers were super aggressive and cheating/robbing customers was the norm, not sure how it is now. They'd overcharge you, claim there were girls inside (there wasn't) not return change, inflate the cover charge. From there it was all down hill. Sometimes there was a girl, sometimes not. Drinks are pushed on you, aggressive waitresses overcharge, no change, claims you paid with a 10 when you paid with a 59 etc and if you make any trouble bouncer will give you a hiding. Some places were doing sex shows on stage, hookers would fuck the guys on stage in front of everyone.
For the clubs I have been to in the CBD (many years ago)
- girls will do a full nude strip on stage and in private rooms
- girls don't touch you when they are on the podium, they might brush past you or dangle their hair on you
- in a private dance where you and the girl are in a curtained off area or an actual room by yourselves the girl can touch you a bit more while she is on the mini podium. If she has her clothes on and is sitting next to you in the private room she can touch more. There is no grinding or lap dance style touching though. During a private dance there will be a bouncer that checks on you from time to time to make sure you are not breaking the rules. If the girls likes you she may let you touch her but you have to be careful you don't get caught. I have touched girls breasts and pussies and even done a little DATY but this was a long time ago, I think they are much more strict now. I gotta admit, the whole strip club thing never really appealed to me. Same story with lingerie waitresses. I lived in the cross for about 3 years, and as a local it's a different experience. The spruikers, dealers, strippers and hookers get to know you and it's more of a community. They'd actually sit down and have a coffee with you, just like neighbours, and tell you stories about their work which was pretty interesting. I enjoyed hearing the ins and outs of it, but could never see myself going to a strip club as a customer
