I thought I better relay something that one of the ex Stanley girls related to me before she left.
She was out at dinner with her father one night and a punter recognised her in the restaurant. He sat himself down in a position where he was directly facing her and proceeded to leer at her for her entire meal. She was really uncomfortable. She said similar things had happened with other punters it was getting to a point where she was no longer felt comfortable going out any more for fear that a punter without respect or decent personal boundaries would bump into her and stare or approach her and possibly "out" her. Or that she would somehow need to explain how she knew them.
I consider this kind of behaviour to be really poor form. Its creepy and disrespectful. These girls have a life outside of the shops. If you happen to run into a massage girl in public, for fuck's sake have some respect and leave her be! Give her a smile but don't fucking stare and don't talk to her unless she speaks to you first.
It amazes me that we have to tell these primates how to behave. Or maybe it isnt that amazing.
