I try different places (I should really do a review) so I go with the flow. For those legit looking places it's a good indicator when the ML asks to remove undies. If it's a new place (and I don't even know if extras are available at all), then I wait to be asked (usually they will do so as soon as I turn over). You can discuss from there.

And the biggest thing - for me it's all about the thrill of the suspense and build up, which is why I don't ask upfront!

If you bring it up yourself, and they say no they are legit, it will be awkward and embarrassing.
