Question Highrollers - Where does their money come from?

I have been wondering lately, how do highrollers have so much money to spend on women? Do they come from rich family with generational wealth? Are they self-made man working hard in early years and reaping rewards later in life? Did they bet their life savings on black and win? I really envy those rich men... Also, another trend is that from what I have seen, so many highrollers are Singaporean? I think this one is because of generational wealth being passed down for sure.

On a side note, what ever happened to working hard to become successful in life when some lucky buggers get passed down the big bucks

Singaporeans work hard and also because it's one of the financial hubs of the world that there are opportunities to make money, I did work for a guy here that his father started his own version of ASOS clothes in Singapore and it took off and he became a billionaire though you are right about generational wealth as the son ended up with the money when his old man died.

These guys who splash so much cash on escorts are probably because they are lonely and so busy tied up in the business or work that they can't manage a proper relationship so they have ones for an hour at their convenience.

Some people I know work hard, two mates of mine run their own plumbing business, just the two of them but they work hard for their money and roll around in rolex's and have their money tied up in good investments.

Don't ever become envious of another person's wealth because you should focus on what you have in the moment.

I totally agree with that sentiment. Comparison is the theft of joy. I'll try to keep this in mind moving forward.

Some money may be made illegally. Better to spend it and enjoy yourself, rather than having to explain later how you got it.

Some people just work hard and want to spend it all.

Unfortunately their are a few on here that are envious of other peoples success. God knows, I've copped abuse for being successful and sharing my life experiences.

Funnily enough they are the same ones who just about criticise everyone without providing any of their worthwhile experiences

I have no respect for people who just inherit wealth, but hey good luck to them, life is a lottery.
I do have respect for people who have started with little and made their money through hard work, taking risks, wise decisions, and maybe a bit of luck too.
How people choose to enjoy their money is up to them.

Most likely founding a business and then selling it for millions when it’s finally of scale. That’s how you make wealth… not by grinding for 20 years and climbing the ladder (sadly). Comes with risk, but obvious reward

Such as drug trafficking or money laundering (as seen at the casinos) and in turn pay no tax. I guess they can't put the money in the banks.

Thats exactly what I did, based halfway between Sydney and Newcastle, with a substantial client base and goodwill. Sold after 15 yrs.

Now in my own private way, paying some of my success back

Accept yourself and be happy. And live within your means.

I make only to be able to afford a cheap $200 punt once or maybe twice a week. I'm happy with it and don't think of meeting a classy young sugarbaby. Of course there are the fortunate brothers here who have done fabulously well to have sugarbabies.

We are people of different abilities. That's what makes this world so interesting. There is a place for everyone.

100%.. It's all about what you want. I don't punt often, but when I do, I want to make sure I get good value for the money. If you can save & have patience, you can surely find good punts..... Though it's not sustainable with financial constraints but once in a while, we do deserve good stuff.

wealth doesn't come from selling and manufacturing luxury items, it just means there is a higher cost involved for percentage return, the real money is in everyday common things that people need like food, so think small when first starting out than grow to build greater wealth

Exactly, my business was transporting fuel from Terminals in Sydney and Newcastle to regional areas and north coast.
A commodity needed on a large scale.
I started as an owner driver with one truck and progressed from there.

Fax...Maslow's HoN's is quite simple - food, clothing, shelter, sex, health - the most fundamental of human needs. You can't wrong.

And would have thought that a roll of toilet paper would become the most sought after possession during the pandemic!

What's wrong now juscruisin58...preparation h not working for you?

On the 7th July you told us that "we have decided this will be our last time on here" so why are you back? I know "laughing at a lot of us who have really no idea".

Actually, you can't stay away because you have a need to tell anybody how good you are, how "more successful than anybody else" you think you are. You're a legend in your own mind aren't you.

Dear oh dear, you certainly are a sick puppy.
I don't see what your problem with me is.
I dont laugh at you, I actually feel sorry for you as you can't see the forest for the trees.
I'm sure there is others on here that have been far more successful than me in so many ways.
If I felt I had a need to tell anybody how good I am, I would actually state my net worth, all I have done is state that I have been fortunate enough to be reasonably successful and I've got a girl.
    Your jealousy is sad actually.

Little wonder contributors are not contributing and are leaving this forum, when they can't be honest and open without being trolled, harassed and ridiculed.
Again you are a sad individual
