Still, have to agree a little. It has to do with the food they eat. Thai food is super loaded with carbs.... Sticky rice, fragrant rice, all that "pad", so so much carbs in their diet! Philo.... I'm not so familiar with but had some during a food festival. Also very very starchy foods they eat! That's bad, very bad for staying skinny.
Japanese are not far behind. That calrose rice is a killer... Almost pure carb! That's why you hardly get any super skinny Japanese around. Those that are probably diet to the tits to stay thin, but how long can they keep it up?
Which brings me to the northern Chinese... Their food of choice is hot pot. Almost all protein and veggies, no rice maybe a bit of noodles, which is far better and less carbs.
