I think there was another thread for this exact topic. Massage shops have opened when the restrictions on retail were lifted. Probably FS places would be last to open with nightclubs. I predict massage places will open once we hit the 70% double dose target which is predicted for Mid October. Assuming that those due for the second dose of AZ vaccine won't wait the whole 6 weeks.

If you look at the vaccination rate in NSW we are nearly going 1% every day. It’s not hard to see when we will reach 70%. I am afraid when they open everything the case numbers will jump and it’s very likely they can re introduce some restrictions. With the lockdown at least the numbers are coming down now which is a good sign.

Yeah seems likely that the case will spike up. Thats my concern, that restrictions will be set in place again.

i wonder if its gonna be made compulsory to check in said organisations with proof of double vaccinations.

furthermore i wonder what there take will be and if there staff will have to be double vaccinated as well?

Pubs and clubs are now preping for a October 11 opening. My guess is a week or 2 after for brothels, RnT will probably open when hairdressers and the like open.

These lgas have higher case rates than lgas outwet but have total freedom from lockdowns and restrictions.

If thats the case happy to be corrected.
But there is a notable difference in the enforcement of the restrictions from the eastern suburbs police compared to what happens in the western suburbs.

Pubs and clubs (yes, RSL clubs... Those that you go to to gamble and drink, not Ginza club!) are set to open sooner than everything else because they're a huge cash cow for the Gov. Think about it. It's a place where people share close contact equipment, slapping on those pokie machines or huddled together in a packed bar. That can't be the safest place to open up first, yet they are.
Revenue for the Gov, and maybe a little bit of fun to cheer the masses up. That's what it's all about.

Punting is unfortunately not for the "masses", nor does it bring a lot of revenue for the state, so it will be overlooked. Sorry bros!

hopefully it's going to be a matter of weeks from now, not months. as full vaccinations get up close to 70 or 80% new covid case numbers will crash and we'll get more and more freedoms back. exact dates are hard to predict.

Was out shopping today and there's def a smell of optimism, could be the sunshine but def. more people out and about looking more like normal. Great to see some young ladies start to wear the summer outfits.. Could be a sign? Maybe not Oct 11th but 18th or 25th Oct is def. on the cards for massage joints at least.

I guess it is March and April next year when Delta Variant is totally eradicated from NSW.

This is really “News” to me. You maybe right that Delta Variant will be eradicated (?) in April next year but will be replaced by a new variant circulating. Following your logic, the sex industry will be closed forever and all go “illegal” like what is before the legalisation of the sex industry over 25 years (?) ago.

I am not so sure if this will be the case in reality.

I would not take seriously anything written by this "kid", the next vagina he will see will be his first, but he is harmless (I think) and the Delta Variant will always be with us............

Yes it’s published on the NSW GOV website that massage shops can reopen when vaccination rates hit 80%. So the best guess right now is Oct 18.

I don't think that any massage shop will never ask to scan the QR code, eventually they can ask to check your certificate of the double vaccination that I have already saved in my medicare app, but to register the presence of the customer I don't think will never happen, they are massage shop but very border line, we know that and they don't want for sure to bring problem in the business

Since almost everyone got their dd vax. Isn’t the QR scan links to our vax certificate when signing in? Hence while the roadmap says no unvax allowed to visit almost every places until december.

I know supermarkets are very strict about QR scan but i doubt most other business are careless even to stop those unvax people.
