I do look at the Sydney forums and see people do reviews there - naming names and venues. I know there are different laws here in QLD, but if you think your cryptic wording of names and places would fool the authorities then I think you might be surprised..... they, the authorities just have more important things to do like hand out COVID fines - that's a good money spinner for them. Every now and then they will do a bust to make it look like they are doing their job....

It is entertaining watching some people get their nickers in a knot over pretty much nothing and as Joejohnson8 said - every now and then there is a bit of decent info put up.

It has gone downhill due to supply and demand - the girls just aren't out there to share information about, so everyone is desperate for information without willing to share their own.

If the laws were similar to NSW, more shops would post, but then again with limited staff and so many old boilers around do you need a roster? If you are a regular, you'll get to know the weekly line up pretty quickly in some shops

True. Until times change and we get a huge influx of new MLs, sticking with regulars is the safest bet for satisfaction. Only problem is the good ones are getting tired and some shops are actively trying to poach MLs from others. I expect more shops to close, even some historically "popular" ones.

I think the comment was relating more to the punting Utopia. Some of us have been here for a long time, most users with a join date of 06-03-2012 would have been here on the old forums and were transferred to the new ones on that date.

Us "old timers" have seen a lot of ladies, shops and punters come and go. There was a time where information passed a lot more freely but most of the contributors have had relationships with the ladies damaged through oversharing on public forums with punters who don't contribute back and give the ladies a hard time. So now any "gems" are only shared with punters that are trusted and others are called out for being a "dick" either on the forum or in real life.

There is a bunch of people still here now who are early adopters of this online medium. My response was relating to the fact that there is history of the Aus99 forums that predates what you can still access here. Some of us have been around long enough to see the waves of good friendly forums change to bitter and back again.

The bitterness generally comes from in my opinion 3 things
1. punters demanding info without sharing
2. punters forgetting certain aspects of our hobby is illegal and oversharing
3. some forum members joining and just being an arse and putting people offside.

I know my punting and forum use has changed over the years. My one time favorite forum is gone, shut down years ago; 2 other forums I previously frequented regularly require payment or regular reviews to stay a full access member (which due to my current work/life balance I just can't seem to maintain), so I tend not to frequent them often. So I spend most of my punting forum time here, despite the fact that this forum is less focused on what I would normally look for ie. private providers rather than massage shops

yeah, I understand where you're coming from Hogan. I first met a particular girl a cpl of years ago, and had an amazing few sessions with her that got better each time. I shared her details privately with a fellow punter on here ( who admittedly did reciprocate with his own suggestions). However, as the months moved on, I noticed her name get mentioned a few times in these forums, and obviously became pretty popular. I guess that would probably be from her amazing service and reputation , as opposed to my suggestion being leaked around. I found it harder to get a booking with her, and then in recent times, when I did see her, she has become more jaded, and money hungry. Service has diminished, and more $$ being sought for "basics". So I don't bother trying to see her anymore. I'm not too concerned, as I've continued to find other little gems around the place, and sometimes I share these with others, or I get recommendations back to me. Basically, I reckon its about 12 months of "seeing" a regular ML that I hit it off with, before the gloss wears off, and she is either too popular or becomes jaded.
