Have you guys ever wandered into any of those shops with only a massage sign in front?

I've seen at least 3 of those on my drive from tik tok to the city. One was combined with a barber shop. Another looks like a house with a sign said "enquiry inside" besides the massage sign.

By way cops don’t care anymore they dis banned the prostitution enforcement unit no longer.. and new laws should be out by end of year for decriminalisation. From proposal ladies will all just need pay for a $300 lic to work in shops approved areas by councils

Massagelover, I've not heard of this. Is this just HJ or FS too. Will it be similar laws to Sydney. Please enlighten me.

Think the biggest hint things will change is the police got rid of the prostitution enforcement unit .. now just down to local cop shops if they can be bothered investigating

I doubt most cops will even bother checking

JD Player started a thread in After Report warning us all about the many raids the police are doing at the moment. Targetting Asians because they don't understand Qld laws.

Good… fuck you assholes

Live and work in the cbd, avoiding you cunts is a daily hassle, not to mention the deliberate leaving of the scooters in places just to fuck with other people.

I doubt any change in legislation will change the industry. Owners in Brisbane don't give a fuck about the laws that already exist.

How many are registered for GST, actually file their taxes correctly, have registered their trading name, ensure their staff are ABN registered, etc?

The only thing that might change is a hand full of shops will follow the new rules, and it will shift the responsibility of policing the dodgy shops from the cops to the council.

did they tell you what the speed limit was supposed to be ? how many km/h were you above the speed limit ? did your scooter have a speedometer ? if not, just go to court and contest this. you won't have to pay a fine if there was no way you could hve known you were above the speed limit. were there signs to tell you the speed limit ?

The judge will laugh you out of court. It's your responsibility to keep under the speed limit. If you don't know what speed you were doing, that is YOUR responsibility.

If there is no signage, that might be a valid argument. Unless you are in an area that has default speed limits.

thought about that too, could be the fucking cyclist before me that got the pass and was on the speedgun...but then again I'd earn more using the time going through all those trouble protesting so I said fuck that , pay the fine and get it over with
