I get what your saying. Monday morning punts work best for me as I have Mondays off and getting the deed done first thing in the morning is a good way to kick off the day. And for that reason only. Sometimes the day hasn't gone to plan and might go a little later in the day. Have never noticed a difference in service. If anything I've caught WLs a little flustered first thing in the morning and still not in the real swing of the day.
The other problem I find lately about going first thing in the morning is that I feel a little deflated as the excitement of going for a punt is over and have nothing to look forward to for the rest of the day. Some guys here are retired or on pensions while others are still working. As a result, a person working full time may not be able to visit a shop early in the morning and will visit after work. If you have a day off then it can be anytime. However it makes you wonder how it is possible for many guys to punt during working hours and in doing so ask yourself, do they have their own business or work at all or are they on welfare payments?

As for MLs always cleaning themselves after each punter, I must say no. There have been times when a ML was running late for another booking and went straight to the next room for the next customer without any shower.
