You will find it is used very differently for punting in the different countries.

In China, its home, it is very heavily used for everything.
So the people nearby feature is almost useless for punting.

So, if i dont have the shop's wechat, i prolly will never be able to visit their shop.

Then i try looking for reviews in diff sites/forums.

It seems wechat has done a massive crackdown. It looks like they are using AI technology to scan through photographs and automatically hiding them from being seen to the public and friends list.
