Cam Site Payments

Hi all :)

Whenever I try to join a cam site and input my credit card (I have tried all 3 I own) I get a message that it is "not accepted" or similar. I assume this is because some Aussie banks do not like being associated with such activities. I used to have a traveller card which worked, but it was very expensive to use and even it started to have issues so I dumped it.

Does anyone know of a cc that is usable with these sites? Thanks in advance.

I'd certainly think twice before using a cc on any such site. You might try finding a card or service that produces a cc number that you can use that is actually just linked to your cc or bank account. That way, if it's compromised, no problem as you can set the maximum amount that can be charged and if it can only be used once. Goggle virtual cc numbers.

Why would you want to waste your money when there are lots of porn sites and videos on the internet? Providing credit cards to cam sites is risky. Don't know who is really behind them too!

Never use your own credit card. Unsafe.
What you can do is buy a VISA or MasterCard gift card from Woolies or Coles, then use it to pay for things online. When the sites ask for your name and sometimes address, you can give a fake name and a random address in Sydney. The gift card cannot be traced back to you because when you buy it from Woolies or Coles you use cash.

To be honest, there are so many sketchy camsites and most of their users are targeted in lots of phishing and malware scams. Using any payment that can be traced to you is just not worth the risk.

If the payment is made through one of the usual adult site payment gateways it usually is quite safe. If they are being made directly through the website I would be quite wary

Fellow punters, do not use your real credit card for anything like this. Your bank might not only stop the expense payment but also cancel your account for no reason.
Banks have been buys going through KYC (Know Your Client) checks of late and they can (and have done so to thousands) cancel your banking relationship even if you have been with them foe years and never defaulted on any payments. What is worse, is they never tell you why they "deplatformed" you off them.

You can always buy a gift VISA from Coles or Woolies with cash and not need to give your ID.

Very smart! Never thought about gift cards for this purpose. I am assuming you mean the vanilla Visa gift card?

I’ve had smoother payouts using wire transfer, but processing time can be slow. Also had fewer issues once I made sure my name matched exactly on both ends.

+1 - The big payment processors, like Epoch, are fine - I've used them a bit in the past, and never had any problems.....

I'm always worried they will hack my accounts or sell my details to scammers. I don't know how to pick put which is a big site and which is a scam. They all look the same
