I now realise that if they give you the room and ask you to wait there it usually means you been double booked. This is fucked up!

I dunno, I’ve always been sent to the room straight away and never been double booked. You can usually hear them calling the girl over the PA as you’re walking away.

Turns out I wasn’t double booked. The reception guy forgot to page the girl. An honest mistake, first time it’s happened to me so I’ll let it slide. On to the next punt!

Oh and personally I would never wait that long lol, if I've made a booking beforehand I would wait for around 5 minutes tops and then start bothering the reception, especially at a place like GE where bookings are almost always honored.

There could be other reasons why the shop has made you wait. Unless you can trust the boss’s word.
Some of the ones I’ve found in my punting were -

1. Another regular decided to stay longer.
2. The WL wasn’t even in the shop. Management called her to come in as I waited.

However I have also had an instance where my then regular was fucking me in one room and said with a crooked smile that she’s working 2 rooms tonight. At half time I went to the bathroom and on the way peered tru the crack in the closed door of her other room to see one very sad looking punter sitting on the edge of the bed.

As I337dude correctly says above, give it 5 minutes to fuck or walk. That’s always a good rule to adhere to.

I've been made to wait shorter periods before due to (I'm guessing) double booking. That's what I initially thought had happened. But receptionist actually forgetting to page the girl, that was a first. The guy was extremely apologetic so I'll let it slide.
