I actually had a similar experience. Couldn't sleep one night so just got up and drove to the shop, must have been 2am when I got there. It was a very unexpected trip and my flight tickets were very last minute (done in the taxi to the airport !!).

Yes using 141 site and checking spa's I found one which was midnight to 8 am, $5000 (HKD). about double a decent hotel , but a woman and facilities included.

I have rights of where the device can be used. all part of original agreement.
I have not changed my attitude since.
think about apple and their EU problems, and its a bit similar.
In reality I haven't had to work since sell main rights. the initial payment and then annual continuing is very comfortable existence.
