If any worries, go get tested at a GP or sexual health clinic?
Is there any other thing to consider?
Maybe I misunderstood the question lol

Keep in mind that any STI test that detects an infection using antibodies can't be accurate for at least several weeks after exposure. It may be six months or more before you can trust a negative result. 1 The unfortunate truth is that STI results take time.

Absolutely, mate. Regular check-ups and getting tested at a GP or a sexual health clinic are responsible steps to take when it comes to your sexual health. It's important to ensure your well-being and the well-being of your partners. Many sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can be asymptomatic, so getting tested is a proactive way to stay informed about your health.

You're absolutely right, mate. The accuracy of STI tests can vary depending on the type of test and the timing of the test in relation to potential exposure. Some tests may take time to detect antibodies or other markers of infection, and the timing can be different for various STIs.
It's essential for individuals to be aware of the window period associated with specific tests and to consult with healthcare professionals for guidance on when to get tested and what type of test is most appropriate based on their circumstances. Open and honest communication with healthcare providers is key to making informed decisions about sexual health.
Thanks for sharing this important information, and it's always a good idea to consult trusted sources and healthcare professionals for the most accurate and up-to-date guidance on STI testing and prevention.

That said, different STIs can present various symptoms, and some may not show any symptoms at all. Symptoms can include:
Itching or burning: Itchy genitals or discomfort can be a sign of various STIs, including crabs (pubic lice) or certain types of infections.
Pain or discomfort: Pain while urinating or during sexual intercourse can be a symptom of some STIs.
Unusual discharge: Discharge from the penis or vagina that is different in color, consistency, or odor than usual can be a sign of an infection.
Sores or lesions: Some STIs, like herpes or syphilis, can cause sores or lesions in the genital or anal area.
Rash or bumps: Skin changes in the genital area can sometimes be linked to STIs.

I got chlamydia from a working girl. Cannot be 100% sure of the girl as I had seen many but have a pretty good idea who it was. Was a routine check up and had nil symptoms.
I contacted the girl I suspected most and she just shut me down!
To this day she is still working and to my knowledge still providing the same services .
God knows how many other punters she has infected!

An easier response is to say how to catch nasty sexually transmitted diseases
1)Read the BBFS (bare back full service) posts on this forum and and say "Nothing can go wrong, I have tiger blood" (Google: tiger blood, Charlie Sheen interview)
With your posts to the forum, really glorify how good BBFS is
2)Practice BBFS on a regular basis with WLs. Condoms are for f- losers
3)Get women infertile which is the main concern with STIs
4)Continue the spread of Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, Herpes, Genital warts, syphilis and HIV/AIDS in the community
5)Go to step 1 and repeat
Charlie Sheen has HIV now. And he gave it to his partner. If you don't know Mr Sheen then don't worry, it can't happen to you

I definitely got one back in 2010 when I barebacked this nympho I met online. It’s a good feeling when you score a root that way, but they I found out why. She revealed that she fucks 4-5 guys per week from Penrith to Bondi. She compared my cock to the cocks she had, a real size queen. Anyway, couple of days later I got these red spots on my cockhead and my Pisspipe burned and itched so much I’d be scratching under the table at work or in the toilets. The spots disappeared in under a week but the itching persisted and only subsided after a month. I got tested inside the first week, doc checked my cock and did blood test and irons but nothing was found.

I appreciate you sharing that you got tested and the results came back negative. It's essential to get tested promptly after a potential exposure to ensure early detection and treatment of any sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Negative test results are certainly a relief

It's something that is in the back of my mind.
Especially the more innocent things - BBFS obviously a bad idea, but what about BBBJ or pussy slide? They're probably quite risky too...
Regular testing is a must - but ideally you avoid it in the first place, right?

All clear despite getting UTI which is supposedly rare for males. However common with male anal.
I'm unsure how I got it. Maybe a girl was rimming and her mouth still got some shit in it then bbbj on me?
The only bbbj I get is from No5.

Everything is fine now. They prescribed antibiotics and also antifungal cream for balanitis.
Anyway sexual health clinic at mt Druitt was professional.
Typical questions upon making appointment like asking is it urgent. I had a feeling they would defer me to gp if I said I'm only there for a checkup. However I did had valid concerns like burning when peeing which was the UTI.
They said if left untreated could lead serious kidney problems.

Sexual health clinics always ask
Do you have unprotected sex?
Do you have sex with working ladies?
Both are high risk factors for STI

I didn't even know I had UTI, but what I noticed was burning sensation when I urine on the first day but it disappeared, I noticed white substnce on the top surface of the water. I thought it's just bubbles I'm creating when I pee..
I do notice I was frequently needing to urine or want to urine but nothing came out. I was putting that down as anxiety but turns out it wasn't.
They gave me 5 days worth of antibiotics 3 times a day..

Hey, I'm not a doctor, but the symptoms you mentioned, like the burning feeling while peeing, needing to go often, and seeing something unusual in your urine, sound like a UTI. It's great you saw a healthcare provider, and they gave you antibiotics. Make sure to take them like they said, even if you start feeling better before they're done. If you're worried or if things get worse, it's a good idea to get in touch with your doctor again. Take care!

I understand your concern, and the best thing to do in this situation is to get checked out by a doctor as soon as possible. It's important to make sure that whatever might be going on down there is nothing serious or long-term. With early diagnosis and treatment, you can avoid any further complications or issues. So don't wait - make an appointment with your doctor to get checked out and put your mind at ease. Good luck!

Not an STI, but I needed to piss a lot, had mild burning and it looked like I had eaten a lot of beetroot, so off to the Doctors where she got me to provide a urine sample. then she sent me straight to a pathology joint where I had an initial ultrasound. The sonographer took some images and indicated she'd be right back, but she came back about five minutes later with the pathologist who took me through to have an MRI. The next afternoon I was on an operating table for treatment for bladder cancer. Has been all good for about 8 years, but ohhh fuck, the chemo instill they inject directly into your bladder via the urethra is a horror. For about a week it burns like hell each time you take a piss, but I'm alive.
Any sign of abnormal urine, FFS get tested, it might just save your life.

I unfortunately had an incident with a ML about a year or so ago and got a STD, luckily some medication fixed the issue but the girl responsible is still working at the shop. Inbox for details of who, don’t think I should make it public here and break the rules. Oh and if you are thinking why I didn’t report it to management, the answer is yea I did but it looks like my complaint fell on deaf ears.

Chlamidia like many STI's is a Nationally Notifiable Disease. The Law requires that all reports to any Dr or STI clinic have to be reported to the State Dept of Health. The testing agency has to report to the Dept as well as a double check. The Department will contact the place where the infection was reported as originating and if possible the WL will be isolated. As the Dept has the ultimate power to close any infected premises down the co-operation of both the WL's and their employers is pretty much a given. Internal government reports indicate that contact with the suspected source is quite frequently a matter of only a few hours. This system probably explains why the annual reports show that the sexual health of WL's is no worse than that of the general female population of the same age.
The fact that the particular WL took no notice of you was of no consequence, the normal reporting system would have dealt with her.

That may very well be State Health's method to trace STIs, but in reality it's not going to work most of the time. Take a look at AJJ's post. Apart from notifying the WG, he did not notify anyone else where he thinks he got it from. Even he's not sure where he got it from. He said he'd seen heaps of girls before the test.
The biggest problem in all that contact tracing stuff is the witness / punter. How reliable is he?
The second biggest problem is the enforcement right along the chain, from the doc through to State Health. I got it once more than 10 years ago, but I clearly recall nobody "interrogated" me about where I got it from. I just said "I had sex with a high risk person", that was it.

I have got STI's twice from WLs and the doctor on both occasions never asked who or where I contracted it, only a recommendation to inform all parties I had sex with in a certain window to get checked and to put little Raybo away for a few weeks.
Without asking they made sure it wasn't on my medical public record and both times I felt like my privacy was paramount. Both times the medical centres I went to had dedicated nurses on site to administer shots but the two doctors insisted that they administer them. They may have advised the relevant parties that someone had contracted an STI or they get data from perscriptions but that was pretty much it.

Perhaps we need a referendum? Just to get everyone on the right page. Only one page as Aldo said.
This thread has brought back bad memories for me 😅
Just for clarification when I tested positive the clinic did not ask me for details or any information whatsoever on when or where I may have contracted the sti.
The only recommendation was that I contact any partner I may have had sex with protected or not.
This clinic was a registered sexual health clinic within NSW health.
Hope this clarifies any confusion about my situation and the testing/informing obligations I had.

not an option these days. Punters spread, not WLs,. They realise when it's too late, then they do everything to get better. It's their livelihood for the most part. The market for BBFS is big and it's in everyone's interest to do it as safe as you can.

Well said
When all is said and done, you will not find a convincing argument that unsafe sex (sex without a condom) is a good idea
If you started a thread on importance of seat belts or random road alcohol breath testing, even then people will find 101 excuses why safety is not important
Both herpes simplex and genital warts can be lifelong afflictions.
Spreading Chlamydia can render a woman infertile. One virus (HPV) can cause cancer. HIV exists in Sydney still - it definitely has not been eliminated
Haven't even started on the horrors of syphilis

This thread has brought back bad memories for me 😅
Just for clarification when I tested positive the clinic did not ask me for details or any information whatsoever on when or where I may have contracted the sti.
The only recommendation was that I contact any partner I may have had sex with protected or not.
This clinic was a registered sexual health clinic within NSW health.
Hope this clarifies any confusion about my situation and the testing/informing obligations I had.
You are ok now I hope?
Good now mate! Definitely learnt my lesson!! Can still be a little loose if the opportunity arises but it was definitely a reality check for me.

I’m glad you’re better. We all get the occasional scare. Mine was from eating Nutella at 4 am then going to bed.
I woke up with two marks on my lips.
Biggest scare in my life till I had a shower.
Truth
