My thoughts are, if you're being strip searched, the last thing on my mind would be WHO is doing it. If it's a strip search, that's deep kimchi there. And if you're an international traveler, it's THEIR rules that apply, and deference goes a long way. What you think is funny, Authorities might not, they usually being particularly lacking in a sense of humor, especially in that situation.

In 1985 an Air India plane was blown up killing 329 people. I was in India at the time and searches of all passengers was immediately instituted. We didn't have to strip but the searchers - all women, literally left no stone un-turned. Some ( a few) of the passengers objected and were booted off flights. The objectors largely did so because the searchers were Dalits (Untouchables.) The Indians sorted out procedures pretty quickly, but I have to report that having one's goolies fondled for explosive content, by a toothless geriatric grandmother of ten was not one of life's great experiences - but it was an experience, and a valuable training in sangfroid!
