I had to return home early while holidaying in Thailand a couple of years ago due to a family illness. Still had over 7k baht and I still
have them. I wonder those Thai girls working privately would partly accept them together with $AUD.

That's a great idea as the Thai baht is worth more today than a couple years ago. How far back are we talking?

I tried that once, the girl didn't take it. she said what I am going to do with it? I can't spend it here and don't know when I will go back. lol

Take it to a couple of money change booths and see what they will offer for it.

I always keep a couple of thousand baht from my last visit for the next. Don't have to worry about finding an ATM or exchange immediately on arrival. Airports are a POOR place for such transactions. 7K at current rates is around 300 AUD, and that will go a lot further in BKK than SYD...:smile:
