But what If I'm not Indian but look like one (no hate or disrespect to the Indian brothers out there). Should I try to convince them that I'm not Indian to see the WL I want too or let it go and choose another one? I don't mind choosing other but from recent ARs that I have read there are few good ones that I want to see but they have No Indians on their profile.

You see, the participants in this industry are not the most eloquent bunch. When they say "Indian", they don't mean a person who's from India proper, they mean anyone from the subcontinent.

Why do they do this, you might ask. I'd wager that it's because they didn't even know there was a specific region called South Asia. If they saw a South Asian looking guy on the street, they would just use the term "Indian guy" to describe him. Think of the "Indian" term here as similar in meaning to "Caucasian", "white", "black", "Chinese"... A very generic term to describe an entire race without knowing exactly where that person was really from, simply because of that person's physical appearance.

The reason the authors of these AR's had good times is simple: the providers wanted to do business with them. If she doesn't want to do business with you, then why waste time trying to convince her otherwise. Or to correct her on your correct nationality/heritage. I consider myself fortunate to be one of the few Tongans with Dutch heritage who doesn’t share the same complexion or rugged features as my brothers. However, it's frustrating to notice that poor hygiene is often associated with a particular race or region in Asia.

at 2 of my place of work, I have noticed that certain race of people are MOSTLY lazy and always dodging work or trying to get out of work or manipulate their roster for more pay. and slowly I have built up an impression that people of that race is lazy and scammy, I realise this is how racism starts. and the environment that I'm in I am only engaging with international students from that country and most of these people didn't really come here to study.

what happens with the working girls, they are likely to see more of the creepy kind of south asians and have built up a bad impression of them all. I'm sure there are nice and more cultured south asian that punt but they are the minority and unfortunately gets lost in the mix.
