What kind of reception do you prefer?

What kind of reception do you prefer? I want to set aside the topic of whether the mamasang is beautiful or not. Some receptions insist on a fixed price or a specific girl only you can see, while others say, 'Don't worry, leave it to me, I'll handle it for you.' If there's room for negotiation on the price or service, and the reception says they'll sort it out, it makes you happy. Maybe in the end, I didn't make things difficult for the reception. Last week I went to a shop in West Ryde, and I'm not sure if the person I talked to was the reception or the boss. When I questioned the price, he, yes, this reception is a male, told me not to worry and asked how he could assist me, saying he would convince the girl. I think that's a good start.

I too frown upon negotiating for lower prices in punting. Maybe he's just getting what he deserves, lol...

"Convince the girl..."... OK, I'll play, convince her to... what? See you? That's a hard pass for me; I certainly DON'T want to be in a room with someone who has to be convinced to be there. Price? That's someone who DOESN'T look out after their staff, and again, I just don't think that's going to create an enthusiastic experience from someone who could very well feel shortchanged (she just might understand reciprocity). Now, if he was going to cut the shop's cut, that's fine, but why does he have to clear that with the girl? Services to be rendered? I'm a big boy, I prefer to speak to her myself for the mutual agreement between the participating individuals; no 3rd parties required.

What I want from reception is:
Honor my booking at the given time with the given girl (duh).
Upfront as to who's available, and willing to assemble a lineup, or at least let the girl come out and say hello.
Once they KNOW me, able to provide some recommendations.

Any sorting out of price/service, I'll do directly, with the girl.

This guy? NOT my preference, but then I'm not (you say trusting, I say gullible).

Speaking of male receptionists the best by far for me was David from 276 Pitt. Always gave me honest assessments after knowing what I liked and his recommendations were always spot on.

Not sure where he is now though haven’t been back much since all my faves have gone now.

I prefer to trust receptionist who is honest and trustworthy, which helps me to avoid unpleasant WLS, because they know about clearly, but they don’t have to say good for their business. Issues are I would choose other shops whose receptionist is reliable.

Ginza and n5m have been pretty good for me. K pop from ginza always wants to speak to me before and after session and Jason from n5m listens the time I have spoken with him.

Imo the managers at kyoto/Sakura seen like they are more interested in hustling you and the girls.

My experience is different from yours. I had some bad experiences inN5M at the moment, no issues before last year. I was told that Ramu, Nezuko was good, but very below average!
Kyoto suggested me to do half hour over the phone and I can add 15 minutes or half hour if getting to the room within 10 minutes. I tried Kura who was identified as transgender. She is just not white. I am transgender sexer 😅

The Asiann guys at 42G have always been polite, honest and welcoming. On the other hand the Asian guy at No5 always sounded impolite with zero communication skills. Maybe if you can speak Chinese then he would perform better I don't know. But generally speaking I always get along better with ABCs like the reception of 42G.

Update: visited 42G last week and seems they have a new Asian guy who had no idea what he was doing. A shame.

I like it when receptionists are flirty and entices you before the actual appointment. Makes me want to go back just to have a chat and feel of here at the least lol!
