What do you think is the peak age of a WL, meaning the age most desired by punters? And at what age do you think WLs start to notice a drop in demand for their services?

1. Depends on the punter, some like SYT's, others experienced.

2. To generalize, I'd say most Asians age very well. Plus a number can rely on their skill sets. And if they have a client list, that too will keep them going.

Not exactly the same, as "normal" girls aren't exchanging their body/youth for money. They would have normal jobs or careers with pay that goes up over time. For WLs their pay goes down over time (i.e. 40 year old commands lower rate than a 20 year old)

And they've earned the big bucks, they've either experienced what that brings or saved it up to do something. If they can't go back to low paying jobs after that, I'd say it was a good trade off. Most people wouldn't earn what they earned as a WG in 2 lifetimes.

Many have a short term , "I'll only be in this for 6-12 months or so" plan initially and then the seemingly the easy and big money access takes over and the years can fly by.
Some have a plan, stick to it and get out, but you see too many upmarket handbags, Cartier bangles that brings a lifestyle hard to leave behind, particularly in the current economic environment.

You make a mistake when you think the study is the goal. A Visa is the goal, and "study" is the means to get a Visa.

Half the "schools" are flat out horseshit visa factories.

I remember reading a breakdown of our economy a couple of years ago from some Top 10 university study in respect to what we have and how it's used (both material resources and people), and it basically boiled the whole notion of this being a lucky country to being a place that has a lot of potential but that we pretty much squander it. Even as far as talent goes at a certain point you have to leave the country if you want to get to the next level.

Plenty of talented people here, but to reach their full potential they probably have to look elsewhere, and depending on some industries they may have to do that earlier rather than later if they really want a career at all.

Being an expat: can make good money, teaches you politeness, humility, and empathy for others... But not everyone can do it. It's a LOT different than just visiting a country on vacation... I laugh at some of the comments here...

So the next time you're standing in line at the supermarket behind someone struggling with the language, with paying (and that's me, bills I understand; coins, not so much), trying to understand the transportation system... and you've got a leg up because most foreign countries that use a different alphabet subtitle all their signs. Go deal with government bureaucracy when the local language isn't yours... Find a place to live... Learn the unwritten rules that govern day to day life... And make sure to flout your entitlement to the security officer who's holding an automatic weapon...
