For me 2 things:
- look at the background. If it looks too nice or styled, it's fake.
- if in doubt, it's fake.

Is the picture taken in the shop? Where there is more than one photo, do they look like the same person? And shop reputation. Many girls and many shops believe it is perfectly fine to use a similar photo for privacy reasons. It is unfortunate that most of them do not simply put the disclosure “looks like”.

99% are fake. I text N5M for a girl and ask is her pics real…reply is yes. I get there and it’s a billion % fake. They just took a photo of the internet and plugged it in. Point is asking without seeing is a punt, so better just look for yourself and that’s only way of being satisfied

IMO only here but ............

- Look at the background (particularly look at small detail such as power points, items on shelves etc to see what is known as available in Australia)
- Are filters being used on the person or backgrounds
- Reverse the image search - see how many times that picture appears
- If the profile has a mobile number listed, search on that mobile to see how often it returns and where

None of these are guaranteed to be successful but just ideas.

To me, the biggest thing to follow is your gut feel and while there may be times where your gut was wrong, if you have followed it then you will never know and should always feel comfortable in your decision

Just go in and ask for a lineup. Or find someone on here with your taste and follow their AR.

Even on locanto you start to see "real 100% real photo!" Unless that shop has a rep for using real pics, I'll always doubt. I'll research a shop for ARs or ask for a line up if im near by, and walk away if I don't like what I see.

I went to a shop at Meadow Bank just the other week the (one next to the station) and walked straight out, jumped back in the car and drove 3 streets away and checked out the new shop Zenith. I was happy enough although the photos on their ad was nothing close to real person lol.
