Now have empathy for ppl who have had trauma in their lives but come on....govt funded brothel visits.
Case in point - this guy is a professional with a mortgage...so obviously earning a decent wage....

I wonder how much they get and how regularly they get funded?

NDIS.............should be NBIS and you know what the B stands for.

He has no arms FFS. Have a little compassion and empathy. I mean he can’t even jerk off.

He’s not some fat, married, self indulgent limp prick popping PBS subsidised pills who wants some extra pussy (or lb cock) on the side.

Our taxes pay for all the jerks out there weighing down the health system after years of excessive drinking, smoking, eating fast food and sitting on their arse doing nothing.

This guy just wants a cuddle and a root. And in a narcissistic, materialistic society it’s not that easy for someone in his condition to get that fundamental human connection.

For what it’s worth I’ve spoken to a SW with clients like this and it gives her a lot of satisfaction to be able to genuinely help someone in need.

More power to them.

Hes putting the cash back in the system. Beats wasting it on pokies or substances to deal with depression. Its like massage therapy. Id say he needs it more than many of us.

Hes a professional with a mortgage. He can pay for it himself.
The principle is fine, but not this guy.

Seems people don't like he has a mortgage. No arms and a mortgage. Lucky guy.

I don't understand it that way. I understand it that people don't feel the taxpayer should be picking up the bill for someone who is a professional and presumably well paid.

Also not really worse than:

- sending billions to keep the Ukrainian meat grinder going,
- spending 600 mill for an NRL team in PNG,
- spending 627 mill for a youth detention centre with 120 cells,
- spending 160 mill on implementing a national firearm register,

and I could go on....

If you're worried about wasting and misappropriation of tax dollars, or the overall amount of government spending (including ever increasing national debt), there are bigger fish to fry...

The NDIS is a great idea and I'm sure our society is all the better for taking everyone on the journey with us. Sadly there are so many stories of people taking the piss that genuine people are judged in the same way. While this gentleman may be a professional and have a mortgage he probably has many other increased costs that we, able bodied, don't have.

Who is keen to swap places with him?

That's a good point. Also, the individuals that get highlighted in the media might be easy to judge one way or the other because they are individuals - they have a face. The companies that rip off the NDIS system are taking huge amounts of our tax dollars compared to individuals, but there isn't the same amount of scrutiny, not in the media anyway

The firearms register grinds my gears. Just more beaurcracy and yet another redundant register.

But also, I have a mortgage. They're expensive. I'd love some whoring pocket money

Yep....well said.
The problem is when they catch the vile scumbags rorting it they get a fine of less than 2 years in jail. Needs to be longer sentances.
