That's fucked up how she was treated and assaulted. I wonder if she ever reported it to management or even knows if she's supposed to. Moderation here isn't terrible but it seems pretty hands off for most of the part. Maybe it's just quiet about how it does it, but I've noticed a bit of a lean towards some "don't tread on me" sovereign state type personalities being fairly prominent here, and getting pretty rude about it too when they're called out on stuff.

It mostly amounts to nothing but a fizzled out internet slapfight, but considering the nature of what this forum is catering towards the one thing it could be better about is putting a foot down about being more respectful to the women that work in the industry. At the end of the day they're not anyone's property and they're still people just trying to make a living. Anti-SW people will try to run with the narrative that they're selling their bodies, but really they're selling is time and companionship. The sex is implicitly included, but people need to get it in their heads that its on the workers terms.

The Ginza locations are really good about protecting their workers as well, but plenty of shops read the stuff posted here. There are no doubt smaller shops that feel more vulnerable to a customer reacting badly to being called out on bad behaviour though. The expectations of the behavior of customers at a place like Ginza should be the kind of expectations all shops and workers should confidently be able to expect from their own customers. The majority of people here seem to be alright and even adjust their expectations and become better educated on etiquette as a customer, but it only takes a couple of bad apples as they say.
