It's a bit of self entitlement as Harry said but mostly a reflection of economic conditions. 25 years ago was not that long after the end of the recession so people still had it in mind that a job was something to be valued and remember that only a couple of years before that it was common for there to be 300 applicants for a job. Now only a small number of people under 35 would have any real understanding of what a recession is and in several industries it's name your own price so there is no pressure to go into sex work. Sadly plenty of the asian girls quickly learn to have an inflated sense of their worth and I read of MLs turning down normal massage rates of $80 per hour if they're not getting extras as well.

I guess the points I was making are:

1/ It's defo more expensive these days
2/ Caucasians are hard to find
3/ Caucasians (at a reasonable price) are out there, usually in massage shops, but they are unicorns
4/ For the punter wanting more extreme sexual antics, massage shops, IMO, seem to me to be much cheaper than brothels (which were once licenced, and have 24hr, and have bigger rooms, and greater operational costs)
5/ There are unicorn private WLs about, but it may be expensive to find your unicorn (which is probably not another punter's cup of tea anyhow)
6/ Cheaper, particularly older MLs, are probably more frisky at times, but carry additional issues

I'm not addressing a basic massage and clothed hand job service .... that's a more complex cost structure.. and usually isn't my preferred service.
