It's $10 entry but it's free if you dress up in traditional Japanese kimono or cosplay.
I have my sailor moon outfit ready to go.

It has always been "family oriented". I doubt Ginza will have a booth there LOL.
The weather forecast is not promising though.

Are the tickets online only?
The upside as far as the weather goes is that the website says the event is being held indoors.

I will dress up as Ryu and pick up Chun Li or Cammy if I'm lucky.

What a disaster!
I spent the last two weeks starving myself and vomiting and taking laxatives so I could be nice and slim and could fit into my costume, then spent 4 hours getting my Sailor Moon make up and costume perfect and I was looking really kawaii and then a sudden downpour of rain came down and my make up went all runny, my blonde wig got all soggy, and my costume got all soaked. Kanashi "sad emoji"

I did manage to hook up with a student girl who wanted English conversation, but I'm not holding out for her to contact me.
There's another Japan Expo at the Town Hall on 14 Dec. for those who missed this one.

That's not what 'hook up' means

hahahahahha
Imagine if they did. You walk past and see this booth "Ginza". You are then greeted by the receptionist with a few popular girls introducing themselves and the services they provide.

Hook up is a pretty flexible multi-purpose term depending context, and it's fairly obvious what the context and meaning was in this case.

Yeh no. Hook up means casual sex. That's all.
