Well these replies are the kind of the reason I’ve been a long time member and only 22 post. Reading things here is like watching a drama series. I was curious how this thread would go. And sure enough my hunch was right. This forum defaults a certain way. I suspect that’s the reason why it’s been slowly dying over the years. And it doesn't really matter to the members of THIS forum, what you contribute in OTHER forums, to what charities you donate, or if you occasionally help an old lady cross the road.

Most of us here are willing to help new members out, but it depends on what they ask, and how they ask. Plus, the posting history is of some significance, because I for one will only help (usually via PM) if I'm fairly certain that the respective punter will treat the MLs or shops I recommend with appropriate respect.
