Is cashing in on fakes a viable business model?

Noting the recent proliferation of ads warranting authenticity with amazing deals like, 'If fake, pay you 300!', has anyone had any luck with making a warranty claim?
Seems to me it could be a viable business model for someone with the time and patience, or alternatively an opening in the market for a new insurance product...

Sadly that's exactly the type of logic some guys do think. Problem is it doesn't exist in the first place. Girl at the apartment suddenly will relapse to 'no speak english'. The punter never handed across any money in the first place so what contract was there to guarantee. Meanwhile while arguing your case with the non-english speaking boiler the intercom will be buzzing with the next mug punter getting access.
