Shop competition

I have heard from a number of the smaller shops lately that the bigger players are really trying to exert their market power.

One well known owner is known for waiting outside competitors shops and trying to scout their girls. You probably know who I'm talking about.

This is a problem for us punters. Once the larger operators control the market then they can then dictate to us punters and they also have a strong financial control over the girls. We have a vested interest in having strong competition in the market.

More competition is much better for us and we should be supporting the up and comers especially as they often offer better VFM.

I've tried some excellent smaller shops recently and would urge other punters to do the same....and then review here and elsewhere.

I think there would be plenty of us on here that don't know whether a shop belongs to a group or not unless there is something in their Locanto advert to tell us. Perhaps you could give us some advice as to what to look for?

Normally more competition leads to more competitive pricing, however in Brisbane we just pay whatever we get offered from both the shops and the MLs...

JJBeck- that is a really revealing post. I don't think I mentioned Poppy or any other shop. Perhaps she has you rattled?
I can assure you I am a legitimate Punter and as I said most punters who talk to the girls know who I'm talking about....
If we are gonna throw out statements....Are you an owner of a larger shop trying to exert your market power at the expense of both punters and girls?

Just for clarity- you suggested that I was Poppy or some other small shop owner and that we should all just keep on punting....Even though I never mentioned Poppy or any specific shops.
I later checked my messages (I'm not on this platform all the time) and had a PM from you this morning asking for specific shops and specifically mentioning that you are supporting Poppy. Then you come out on the public forum and say that I'm Poppy....Why did you do this? Were you trying to get me to say I'm supporting her too? Frankly it's a bit weird and very revealing about you.....

Competition is healthy approach in this business

Financial control over girls will not happen in my shop
