Long time lurker question here

Hey guys, I know there is some decent talent in birssy I've taken a couple of L's but have had majority of wins. I do lurk a bit on these forums, but i don't understand why do people up here tend to gatekeep in comparison to Sydney, I've been down there twice recently and it was much easier getting information on the Syd thread then here.

Welcome, I am also a long time lurker but just joining the chat now. I agree, having lived in both cities in the last 10 years.

I think it has to do with the depth of talent available in Syd vs Bne which makes the Bne forum quieter and more secretive than sharing info. Less talent, higher prices and fewer recommendations...
Some say the fun is in finding your own gems. Just my thoughts though

We had different laws in qld up until august last year.
It was essentially illegal here.
Plus most of the posters here want to keep secrets.
Plus because of the scarcity of talent, publicly mentioning good mls results in them getting overbooked and changing shops.

It’s because there is some absolute troglodytes on this forum and when someone gives a girl a good review these clowns see it as an invite to go and harass and haggle with the girl because they read some shit online.

The problem is that anyone can read this forum. Anonymously.
For every brave citizen who puts a name to their posts, there are about a 100 who read and just take without giving back.

That's a bit of a mystery. I suspect it's because the city and the market (service providers and punters) in Bris is much smaller. I don't really understand the gate keeping approach. I provide simple reviews without any explicit detail, just enough to indicate what I experienced. That seems to be sufficient based on the comments received.
