So with the change in legislation, why are shops still adamant that they are 'massage only' when clearly they are not (especially when you are a returning customer and know full well you get more than a massage)?

For context I wanted to see an ML that I have seen before, messaged on the day she works, she's not there. So I asked if any of the other girls working offer FS. Get the run around, we don't offer that, don't ask again. Get told to 'come in and try xyz'. I said I would, if they can provide what I want (didn't want a punt, wanted a known thing). Was told to come in and ask the girls in person (and know that at least one of them doesn't, based on forum reports in here).

So why do it? Why not just call it for what it is and not piss off your customers?

My guess is that it is a case of YMMV. The girls have a choice and for whatever reason may not want to offer you everything. That said, most of the shops that I visit will tell you whether a full menu is available when you are looking to make a booking.

Most girls want to see what they are fucking before offering it.
You could be a 300kg lard arse. You could have not showered for a week.
Or worse, you could be Indian.
You might have a price point of $150 or be fussy in return.
Any girl offering fs sight unseen, well I wont see them. Have some standards.

Yep, most of them do, hence my annoyance at 'we don't do that here'... And have absolutely no drama with YMMV.

How bout an analogy for you...

It's a nice day, I want to have a bourbon or two, so I'll go to the pub. I know there will be bourbon there and I'll get what I want (escort or brothel).

It's a nice day, would love to have a relaxing trip to a licensed cafe for a meal and a bourbon. Now I know for sure that I'll get a feed at a cafe, but not all the licensed ones sell spirits. So I'll look up their menu, or give them a call. If they don't have bourbon, I'll try another one (massage shops with girls that are known to offer extras, but not 100% sure if the girls are offering exactly what I want).

It's a nice day, might go for a drive and pull in to a random cafe on my spur of the moment road trip and see what's on offer (the excitement of a punt - win some, lose some).

Good for you not going to a ML who offers FS sight unseen. As for standards? Well, they vary sometimes. They can say no if they don't want to, I can say no as well.

No need for analogy.
If you want a guaranteed fuck you will go to a brothel or an escort or phone a massage shop and ask which ml doesnt care about fucking a giraffe, hippo or the 2017 Broncos.
Thats all good and dandy. The new laws allow you to do that.
Unfortunately most shops operate without knowledge of the new laws or leave it up to the mls to make a decision price/customer dependent.
If it works for you, yippeee ki ay.

The analogy is really pointless. A massage shop offers a massage in the same way a licensed venue - be it a pub or cafe - will sell alcohol, just maybe not the type you want.
A massage shop offers a massage and doesn't require the ML to offer anything more so it is up to the individual ML to offer what extras she wants.
Offering sexual services is a little bit different and not a menu item at a massage shop.

They registered as massage business to state government easy.
But to registered as brothel has different rules even under new state laws regarding location and advertising

Some don't want to be known for those services. Even though the law has changed, some shops fought hard for their reputation and know that a lot of their customer base are cheating on their partners and don't want to be answering direct questions like that on the phone or text message. They still offer that discretion to customers who aren't openly banging girls and their wife finds a receipt or booking message they can chase with their little investigation.

Its the punters fault that not much has changed. And i think it illustrates that QLD will not change either

I have moved from QLD way down south but I did find punting in Brisbane a pain in the ass and overpriced.

The girls in brothels also have a get-out ready to go if they don't get a good vibe during intro.

"Well sir, do you like the look of any of the ladies"

"I'd love to book Shaggin' Shazza for an hour thanks"

"Sorry sir, Shazza just had a phone booking for 10 minutes time, and is no longer available"

Lol well its true unfortunately. My best punts have been from Seeking and made a few good connections from Adultmatch. Punting is a chore in Brisbane compared to how easy it is NSW. Just stating a fact

Correct - so easy compared to the brothel licence.
