I’d been stopping by the shop often enough that she invited me over on her day off.
I must admit, I was a bit taken aback—she’s living in student accommodation that’s really below par.
Given her income and appearance, I would’ve expected something with a little more class.
Honestly, the place could use a turnstile instead of a front door.
I passed one homeless looking fellow on the way out, just as another arrived.
Let’s just say, the clientele doesn’t exactly go unnoticed.
