PhD Study - Recommendations for working ladies/establishments

Hi all!

First time user/poster on this website as I have stumbled upon this in my research.

I am a current PhD student, conducting academic research on contemporary sex work in Australia. My study focuses on the dynamics of client-provider interactions, the evolving perception of sex work in the digital age, and the ways clients, and working ladies, navigate their experiences, expectations, motives, and ethical considerations.

As part of this project, I am conducting field work involving in-person visits to sex work establishments and independent providers, combined with ethnographic observation and anonymous interviews. I already have several providers and venues who have agreed to take part in an interview (most of which I have found on this forum and are quite popular). However, I am hoping to expand my sample size to better reflect diversity of working styles, settings, and client demographics.

With that in mind, I would appreciate recommendations of establishments or providers that you feel are unique or particularly noteworthy (whether in terms of service, setting, approach, or experience).

In addition, I'd love to gather some more perspectives from the clients themselves. If your open to chatting (strictly anonymously and confidentially) about your experiences, I'd be happy to provide information on ensuring privacy. I'm not here to judge, promote, or critique what anybody does, but simply gain perspective in a real-world context.

Feel free to post your recommendations of working girls or establishments you think are worth looking at, your input is very valuable.

Agreed. Happy in principle to help further research into this area if legitimate, but will need DM / PM facility to get this going. I believe you need a certain post count (not sure what number, but more than 1) before you can send / receive PMs.

It is not soliciting participants and brothels; this website has been cited in other papers conducted by students.

Thank you for your feedback. I completely understand the scepticism, especially considering the nature of this research. I want to assure you that my study adheres to strict academic and ethical guidelines. The research is part of my PhD program, and it has been approved by the university's ethics committee.

I completely understand the concerns about potential biases or preconceived notions, especially given the sensitive nature of this topic. To clarify, the research is not about promoting or critiquing any lifestyle, but rather exploring the complex dynamics of client-provider relationships in the digital age.

My study is designed to be as objective as possible. It is impossible not to recognise that humans subconsciously hold biases, and sex work requires thoughtful conversations. I have taken all necessary steps to ensure this is as minimised as possible. I can confidently say I don't hold any ill thoughts towards clients or providers. However, I can't promise that somewhere in my mind there isn't a dismay, or a favouritism I hold to either side of this conversation.

I hope you understand, and participants will receive proof of all funding and the adherence and acceptance of ethical considerations.

It's highly likely the OP is full of fucken horseshit but for argument's sake, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's genuinely got some sort of endorsement from a uni to carry out this PhD thesis.

Similar studies and research has been done before, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility. The OP should be able to get some pointers from this thesis (see below) as it comes with ChadThunderCock's seal of approval.
