I made appointment at 11:10. Then, I arrived Epping around 11 and saw a message from the shop that the girl was late to 11 and the first customer want to wait so he want to postpone all other customers after. I told him I arrived so I donÂ’t want to postpone as I donÂ’t want to wait for a hour like the first customer.

Then, I went to the shop and the guy behavior like he doesnÂ’t know my appointment until I show him the confirmed message. Then, he told me the girl is with another customer as he want to postpone all other customers. He said he msg me at 10:33 but he didnÂ’t see my reply at 11:02. Yes, he assume all customers read their messages every half hour and his job is just send messages. ItÂ’s just a simple job to reschedule the first customer when the lady is late. But he choose to piss off all other customers and told me first come first served. So the appointment means nothing. Then, he said I am the one make trouble and this is the company policy to postpone all other customers instead of rescheduling the first customer.

This is the funny part, he is actually the boss, the company policy is his policy. So, avoid go to that shop unless you are happy check their message every half hour and make sure you reply quickly even that doesnÂ’t make any difference. Or if you like your appointment is postponed any time they want.

I can accept the lady was late or the reception did a bad job. But not a shit boss who doesnÂ’t care customers. BTW, he also owns the shop 227 north Strathfield.

Keep in mind it wasn't the first customer's fault the girl is late, if that is the real story. So I can understand they want to honour the first customer's booking. Also the first customer could be a regular, and more valued customer than you.

I can believe it. I've also been going to 227NS and 41E for a few years. The only one I've EVER had problems with is Jayden. All the rest were good (although the old lady at 227NS can occasionally be a bit irritating).

One time I was told by Jayden my girl would be a "bit late" (10 mins) because she came to work late. I finished up waiting for 30 minutes and had my 1hr booking cut to 45 minutes. First thing the girl said to me when she came in the room was that she wasn't late and had followed Jaydens instructions exactly as to when bookings started and ended. She could have been lying but I honestly doubt it. What annoyed me more was Jaydens attitude. Very dismissive.

Never had issues with anyone else other than him, and it has happened with him more than once.

Fair call. I am still a customer of 41E and 227NS and don't advocate avoiding the shop. Maybe the OP was a first time visitor.

I mainly remembered this interaction due to Jaydens attitude. It was oh, it's the girls fault because she got to work late, she'll only be 10 minutes, I tried to text you and let you know but musn't have written down your number so couldn't contact you. Not sorry we've been super busy and I dropped the ball, my bad. Very much like the experience the OP reported.

The lady who used to do reception at 41E - don't know her name - super efficient, polite, firm, organised. Everything you want from reception and no bullshit. Even the old lady at 227NS is helpful despite being noisy.

Went to 227ns and 41 Epping many many times Not one have experienced anything bad , rude or misleading. Always accommodating my request for need a shower first or a shower room( Epping) only complaint is 227ns is too busy( good for them bad for me) , some time have to wait for a shower. ( I like that old lady she is nice and warm )

However whenever there have been issues the 41E boss lady handled them a lot more professionally and smoothly with clear and firm communication. You can see from what the OP said Jayden was inconsistent and backpeddaling and laying blame elsewhere. And I get it, he had a shit sandwich to sell and didn't feel like it was his fault. But that is his job, to manage these situations.

I see this as a FIFO queue. Doctor gets hung up in surgery, then all his afternoon appointments get shoved back. The appointments DO mean something, specifically the appointments in front of yours. The first one in the queue has the right of first refusal - if he chooses not to pass, then you get the right to choose what you do, and then the one after you... Hopefully, someone bails so the queue can catch up, but those are individual choices made in order. The boss did care about ALL his customers, in order.

It's certainly happened to all of us at some time, a girl's late arrival, and the shop having to handle it. On one occasion, I waited; same girl, next time, I didn't (seemed she was chronically late). At another shop, I didn't wait, spoke to the manager. I've always remembered what she said, "Not my fault the girl is late. What can I do? I'm losing money too." But if I had chosen to join the queue, I wouldn't have expected to jump to the front just because it was now within "my window"....

METHINKS that if you were the first in the queue, and YOUR solution was implemented so you were bounced, I'd think there would be a similar post about appointments meaning nothing.

But yeah , Jayden has a pretty shit attitude compared to the female receptionists.
Also some of the 41 epping girls can have attitude problem, that Jayden can't fix.

Service at sister shop 227 is better, and also 24's service is definitely better in the Epping area.

Jayden probably has too much money to worry about customer service, lol.
There's a reason why 41 is getting less and less popular , that and the entrance being so public is a huge turn off.

If a staff is not good, I donÂ’t blame the shop. This is not the first time this gay has problems but this is the first time I know he is the boss.

Ladies donÂ’t just work in one shop. If you want me accept FIFO, check your message every half hour, then I just avoid you. There are plenty of massage shops that have good girls.

I was there same day, given 3 different times following booking; then waiting when I got there! Never a problem with the woman who manages this place, this guy either over committed (greedily) with bookings or is simply not up to it. I fully agree with the poor attitude comments also.

It's shit all around if the girl is genuinely late and fully booked for every punter who follows.

The reason I stuck my oar into this thread was because I agree that Jayden doesn't handle situations like this well. He looks down and just says the first lie that pops into his head to defuse the situation, and sometimes as a result contradicts himself. Whereas I can guarantee boss lady would immediately tell you whats what, apologise for the situation, and ask what can be done to fix the situation for you. She wouldn't say oh we don't have your booking or some other bullshit.

Good to know they have another boss. That must be why the previous service was so good. You also go there for more than 3 years, you know the feeling when the boss doesn’t care whether you are a decent customer.

Just to be fair, shop cannot know all the girls, if a girl has issue, don’t blame the shop. My booking was cancelled because the girl left early, I am fine with that as I know the shop hate that more than me.

I believe other shops will welcome me that never late, always book for 1 hour and give good tips to the girls. So, if this post can make them improve, it’s good for all of us. If not, then good luck to them.

Jayden , maybe was looking after his regulars who were first in queue!? I know in past he move heaven earth and bookings to accommodate regulars. Never liked the aloof attitude of the guy at 41 Epping. He is the milder version of that fat guy with big glasses at No5. Been there twice and decided not to visit again. Luckily the girls running Tulip on the other side of the station know how to treat you well in a professional and respectful manner
