So I only arrived to Australia a year ago and having only been living in countries where strupclubs are illegal, it just hit me there’s stripclubs here.. and now considering to visit a few. But not even sure if it’s even worth visiting them..

Anything I should look out for? In terms of avoiding scams.. since I’m going alone? .. and how to make the most out of the night without going broke?

I’m considering Petersham Inn for now but open to any recommendations.

The ones in the CBD are mostly price gouging. Never been Petersham Inn. The trick is to not look stingy while at the same time not looking like a sucker who will spend his whole wad on a lap dance. Then some use monopoly money which you trade in for real cash like a casino. Again a psychological tactic to lower your inhibition to spend.

I say don't go alone. Go with one or two others, get a table and just hang out and chat amongst yourselves. Soon they'll come and ask if they can sit/chat and feel you out to see if you're an easy mark. Then you can more casually find out what she's offering and how much etc. Whereas if you walk in alone, you're gonna go straight to being sold a list of services as there's nothing else to do. With mates you can just chill and have a few drinks so there's no pressure to go into a booth and pay X amount for this and that. More in control of the pace of the night.

Problem is, when there's a glamazon rubbing up against your willy, (never wear underwear to a strip club) all the different things you want to do from that point forward are all against the rules of the establishment lol.

Twin peaks isn’t really a strip club , but dinner and a show, you will leave with blue balls but worth the money ( hot tip get salt and pepper with your food)

I used to frequent Brisbanes strip & lap dance clubs, Showgirls, Universal, Players etc many years ago and it was a lot of eye candy fun and the lap dances were quite liberal and sexy, but you almost always walked out with some tight balls!

As someone who has recently been regularly attending strip clubs in the CBD, I'd never recommend it. You may find a girl who you enjoy the company of and I know that's what I'm buying when I go and that's worth it to me but it'd never be something I recommend solo.

As far as value for money is concerned, an escort would be cheaper espcially if you're looking for relief of any sort or if you just want to see some tits. It will be a fraction of the price at a brothel or otherwise.

With that said, the places I've been to have pretty much set pricing and there's not really anything to haggle over. So whether or not you'll go broke is really dependent on how long you want dances to go for. Some places also have an outcall option which, for the price, is nowhere near worth it.

They can be a lot of fun but, generally, the girls will try and extract money from you as fast as possible and if you're clearly not spending then they'll move on and do the rounds.

Remember reading an article years ago about a proposed strip club/bar in the cross to be opened where you could take the girls upstairs for FS. I remember thinking to myself what a genius business model. Never heard of it again.

We did twin peaks for a bucks night on the harbour boat. It was good time but as you said, blue balls and pricey upstairs on the boat $$$

100% agree. Never been to a good strip club in Sydney and have never once seen a girl above 7/10 looks wise here. Melbourne is better but used to live in the US and Canada where standards there are off the charts with plenty of 8+/10 with dance skills to match. Probably a good thing for my wallet as combining the high calibre strip clubs of North America with the awesome brothels and RNT's here in Syd would be very very expensive. My mate was at Petersham Inn on a weekend. Had plenty of lap dances and had a bit much to drink. They removed him from the club telling he was too drunk and disturbing patrons. On his way out the bouncer was taking his photo, telling he will give it to the police. Poor bloke is now worried what to do. No police were called that night.
