HJ with with my regular ML and she was freakishly hygenic, reason for concern?

Went to my regular ML but his time she was super pedantic on hygiene which was odd and out of place.
She used wipes on everything she touched on the bedside table, even when dispensing lotion from the bottle and after the HJ she left to wash her hands (no shower/basin in room) and came back and continued the massage as if nothing was out of place.

In hindsight I probably should've asked whats going on before continuing with the HJ, could she have caught something infectious or possibly another ML and now trying to stop the spread? Anyone experience something similar and how do these shops try to manage/contain the spread if something does pop up out of curiosity?

I don't know but I remember shortly before Covid hit that I was living in Victoria and on a visit to Melbourne I really noticed the number of Asians wearing masks and couldn't help wondering why they were doing that, obviously it all came out a few weeks later. I also saw that Brett Sutton who was chief medical officer in Vic during that time recently said that it wasn;t transmitted on hard surfaces much at all and is caught mostly from airborne particles.
