For me, the St George area is a sweet spot of travel time, distance, number of shops and privacy. 20 Montgomery is a small shop with only two or three rooms. Its proximity to the police station is ironic but clearly not an issue given how long the shop’s been there.
On entry, the shop shares a small recessed alcove with another small business or two, so for the casual observer, it’s not immediately obvious you’re walking into (or out of) an RNT, which I like. The shop backs onto Moorefield Lane, as do other businesses, but there’s no signage or customer parking back here, so I don’t think it’s offered as an entry point to punters.
As far as I’m aware, there’s no WeChat or Locanto ad for the shop - just the names of the staff rostered on their website.
The shop is dimly lit, with soft music playing and a blocked out front window.
