It's opened my eyes some. I've met some WLs who if I saw outside would not have otherwise thought at all would be in this line of work, but made me realise it could be anyone.
But I don't look at every woman I come across in public and think she is a WL.

I love the responses both serious and wanker ones. I've avoided going back into work because of her and have been wfh. It's not a line I want to cross. She's not worth my job. You might want to consider yourself lucky. A mate of mine started to date a coworker, beautiful Japanese heritage girl, nice, SMART. Went on for awhile, then she broke it off. He was white, she was Japanese, her parents were traditional. The problem? They shared an office, not a bullpen, but a 2 person office. Had to see her, sit with her, every day for about a year. Management? "This isn't high school".

Yeah, me neither. It's a very clear demarcation for me and I, as a natural course, don't entertain the thought of connecting an attractive woman in general life/occupations with possibly being a WL.

It's probably semantics but I also don't connect my punting with being a hobby, but more an activity I undertake to fill voids in my life. I enjoy it and don't regret it but being a hobby seems to normalize it more than it deserves. Just my thinking, not a criticism.

Sad that it's very difficult to pursue things further, cultural differences and 10hr flight between us, etc, but also glad at the same time looking at the bigger picture. You definitely have to think logically (with the big brain and not the small one).
