I punt every 1-2 weeks so it has been pretty good for my savings and enjoyment.

But I refer business's for RnD and get a decent commission. It pays for several punts a month, so that keeps things afloat.

This is going to be the best advice in the thread I already know it.

Another one though is that if you occasionally enjoy drugs and/or alcohol in your younger age, most folks tend to stop or slow down doing those as they get older and the effects from that show up back in the ol bank account.

This is the way, and it's not about wanking. It's about how you perceive your money in relation to your need to cum.
As long as you can get your release any which way you can, you've "earned" the same $$$ you would've spent on the punt in net income, after tax.

It's amazing if you think of it this way. To be able to pay $300, you would need to earn about $550 assuming you're in the highest tax bracket. That's without considering super. With super it's even harder, that figure goes up to about $600.

If you earn $6k (gross income) and punt $300, per week, that's like giving yourself the equivalent of a 10% raise simply by not punting for the week.

There was a thread recently discussing the ideal abstinence period for maximising cum volume, the general consensus being 3–5 days for peak volume production. So on that premise you'd wanna be rubbing one out every 4 days, and that should keep you in check and save you a motza. Here’s an idea. I’ve made the ideal conditions for punting extremely prohibitive.

I need at least 3 days of clear freedom to binge punt multiple shops and as many of my favourites as well as anyone newly reviewed. It costs thousands of dollars and the opportunity comes up less and less.

I’ve been down to once every month, then 6 weeks, then 2 months, now it’ll be a 4 month gap at least.

Frustrating but sustainable. There ya go!

I've started tracking my spending on punts and related stuff.

Being able to check the actual costing of it has helped me in talking myself out of the impulsive punts. So far been pretty good at keeping it at 1 punt per week.

Well 2026 isn’t looking great with today’s rate rise.
